Last week we went over to Ocoee and spent the week at Laurie and Brett's. We stopped and picked up Chase at college on our way through. He is taking some classes at Cleveland State.
Laurie and Brett have been finishing off their basement this year. It will be nice when they get it done. It will have an apartment for Marie, Brett's mom and a small studio apartment for Chase. It will also have a family room, bedroom, bath and a pantry room.
We did some projects for Laurie while we were there. Brett was just there one night and then he was flying the rest of the week. We went to Hobby Lobby one day when we were in Cleveland and got some letters for a wall. This is the way coming in from her garage. I like how it turned out.

Hunter had gotten a 2000 piece puzzle for Christmas. I worked with Hunter and Noah on the puzzle. We did not get any where near done while I were there, but it was fun. I've never done a 2000 piece one. Not sure I would ever buy one, either.
One day we were out getting milk and eggs from the Mennonite farmer that Laurie gets it from. Hannah made cupcakes while we were gone and decorated them. It's her first try and she did a good job.
The Olympics started while we were there. Not a bad way to watch the Olympics while having a fire in the fireplace! Nice and cozy!
Howard and I both made some bread while we were there. Placing it infront of the fire is a nice place to have it rise.
It was a fun week to be with them. The kids had done their school during Christmas break, so they were able to take the week off from school while we were there.

We went through some pretty areas driving home. I love seeing the ice coming out of the limestone on some roads.
